How we can becoming the Wisdom Bearers for the next Generation

On September 15 in Dernbach and on September 17 in Vallendar, we began the Wellspring Days of the Second Half of 2018.

Over the course of three Wellspring Days we will deal with the topic of »The Elders are Watching: How we can becoming the Wisdom Bearers for the next Generation«. These days are accompanied by the texts and pictures of the book, The Elders are Watching of David Bouchard.

In September we took up the theme under the aspect of »You are responsible for a lifetime for that which has been entrusted to you: Insisting on responsibility«. We studied such diverse themes as our original responsibility, our first passion, our first conviction, what the last generation saw and loved in us, that which has been entrusted to us, and many others.

In October we took up the next aspect of our theme and looked at it from the point of view »You are not the only one in the house of the earth: from Egocentricity to the Common Good«. Again we were accompanied by the texts and images of the book and considered how the creativity of God is the only thing that can move us from egocentricity to the common good, because God uses his creativity to create spaces in which others can live.

As much as we have cherished and enjoyed such people in our lives, during these days we repeatedly pose the question as to whether we wish to become such elders, such wisdom bearers, for others.
